I was raised by a Pentacostal mother and a Baptist father. I affectionately called myself bapta-costal while growing up. During a night of revival, I was saved at the tender age of eight. I did not learn until I was older that my mother had been praying ferviously for my salvation. Her devotion to my salvation lead her to particpate in a fast that the ladies of the church were doing. I have since lived of a life of servitude, turmoil, victories, and sorrow all while learning what it means to be more like Christ.
